Acupuncture
What is Acupuncture and what is it used for?
Acupuncture has been the standard of medical care in China for more than 3000 years. Acupuncturists treat the body as a system of organs interconnected by meridians and channels in which energy [chi] flows. Disease develops when the energy [chi] is blocked and the balance of the body systems are disturbed. Health is maintained and disease or pain can be prevented by restoring the flow of energy [chi] in the meridians and channels.
Acupuncture often can effectively treat many diseases and illnesses such as arthritis, chronic pain, carpal tunnel,
complications related to strokes, PCOS, maternity care, and digestive disorders. Acupuncture has a broad range of application in both chronic and acute disorders including: allergies, anxiety, asthma, addiction, constipation, chronic fatigue, depression, diarrhea, headaches, heartburn, IBS, menopause, migraines, nausea, PMS, sciatica and pain syndromes.
