Acute and chronic conditions seen include: Allergies, Asthma, ADD/Autism-spectrum, Arthritis, Cancer co-management, Cardio-vascular, Detoxification, Diabetes, Digestive (food sensitivities, IBS, candida, ulcers…), Fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue, Hepatitis, Hormones balancing, Illness susceptibility, Immunization information, Infections, Neurological, Pains, Skin and more.
She performs physical exams (check-ups, annuals, well-child, sports…), gentle adjustment techniques, a variety of physical therapeutics, removes benign skin growths and age spots. Lab testing, nutritional assessments and other specialized diagnostic tests, referrals and care coordination are utilized as needed.
Other treatments may include medical nutrition, botanicals and/or prescriptions, while being mindful of their interactions. NDs use prescription drugs when absolutely necessary, although the emphasis is on the use of natural healing agents. Naturopathic medicine complements and enhances treatments provided by other health care professionals; hence providing a truly integrative form of health care.
Dr. Mazure-Mitchell, ND received her Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in Seattle. She obtained her BS and MS in Community Health Education from the University of Oregon. In addition to private practice and many years of public involvement in Eugene Oregon, Dr. M. instructs the nationally recognized Phlebotomy Technician program at LCC. She is a referring care partner with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and serves on the board of the Pain Society of Oregon. She is a member of both the American and the Oregon Associations of Naturopathic Physicians.
